Derek Graham-Couch (born in Oban) is a Scottish
professional wrestler working in World Wrestling Entertainment on its RAW brand
as Robbie McAllister. He is one half of the tag team The Highlanders with Rory
McAllister (Russell Murray).

Life
before wrestling
Couch was born and raised in Oban before moving to
Canada in 1988. His adopted hometown is Cambridge, Ontario.. He started going to
wrestling school at the behest of co-worker at CAMI Automotive, Inc. He met his
partner, Russell Murray at the Von Erich / Hart Brothers School of Wrestling,
where the two were trained by Waldo Von Erich.
Career
Graham-Couch and Russell Murray started out
wrestling in South-Western Ontario with promotions such as, Pure Wrestling
Association (PWA) and Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling, which did wrestling shows in
Ontario, Canada. The team's last independent match before signing a
developmental contract with WWE occurred in PWA, against Andrew Davis and Phil
Latio in Cambridge, Ontario.
The Highlanders would first wrestle with WWE's
developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling for several months before being
brought up on the main roster.
Vignettes began airing in June 2006 editions of WWE
RAW which featured the Highlanders cutting promos similar to that of the
"Barbarian" commercials for the Capital One card about coming to America from
Scotland. Couch and the Highlanders made their in ring RAW debut on July 3,
2006, defeating Rob Conway and Matt Striker, who they would beat the following
week as well.
