Oxygen Hit
Series The Bad Girls Club
Returns for Season Two on
Tuesday,
December 4 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
New York, NY –
Bad is back on Oxygen with the
season two premiere of hit reality series
The Bad Girls Club on Tuesday,
December 4 at 10 p.m. (all times ET/PT). From Bunim-Murray, the
groundbreaking producers of The Real
World, the show’s second season takes ‘bad behavior’ to the next
level with a cast of young women who are powerfully bold, outrageously funny
and endlessly entertaining.
The Bad Girls
Club,
which became Oxygen’s highest rated original series ever during its first
season, brings seven self-proclaimed ‘bad girls’ together in a beautiful Los
Angeles mansion. The cast, who range in age from 21 to 26, recognize that
their outrageous behavior has hindered their relationships, careers and
lives. These women have issues with anger, trust and control, and claim
they want to change. Will living together help them move forward and turn
their lives around – or will chaos rule?
The new
housemates are:
·
Cordelia – raised in an affluent
Connecticut community and never part of the “in-crowd,” she rebelled with
partying and guys;
·
Darlen – a Texas dancer known for
causing drama and constantly fighting;
·
Hanna – a Brooklyn blonde who
uses a brash, hard exterior to cover up her sensitive side;
·
Jennavecia – a tattooed and
pierced young woman with a foul mouth and raunchy sense of humor;
·
Lyric – an earthy poet with a
talent for manipulation;
·
Neveen – a morning radio show
sidekick from a traditional Muslim background who is judgmental and
defensive;
·
Tanisha – a funny, proudly
full-figured Brooklyn girl with serious anger issues.
“If you
thought last year’s girls were outrageous, wait until you see the new cast,”
said Debby Beece, President of Programming and Marketing, Oxygen. “These
girls are extreme in every way and deliver more conflict, more drama and
more laughs. Through it all, we are sure our audience will embrace these
women, in all their imperfect glory.”
“In twenty
years of making reality shows, never has there been this much drama and this
much fun,” said Jon Murray, of Bunim-Murray Productions. “These girls are a
non-stop riot.”
Jon Murray and
Laura Korkoian are executive producers of
The Bad Girls Club for Bunim-Murray
Productions.
The series is
managed by Aaron Meyerson, Oxygen’s Senior Vice President of Development and
Production, and Kimberly Chessler serves as the Executive-In-Charge.
