MTV will premiere Season 2 of their hit dating show “My Own” starting MONDAY AUGUST 14^th!  The show will air every weekday at 6pm.  This season will feature wannabes of some of the hottest celebs! Check out the schedule:

Who wouldn’t want a chance to date the celebrity they’re obsessed with? Well…we all know that’s never going to happen.

 

Do you want to be Nick Lachey’s new sweetheart? Ever want to go to the candy shop with 50 Cent? Do you like to get love drunk off Fergie’s hump? If so, you'll need to watch Season 2 of “My Own.” MTV is back again, hooking up fans with the next best thing on “My Own.” We’re going to help a freaky fanatic find the man or woman who most closely resembles their celebrity heart-throb in every single way! Someone who looks, sounds and even thinks they are the next best thing to the actual star.

 

With the help of two friends, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to question, examine and audition an assorted selection of wannabe pop-stars hand-picked by MTV. Our uber-fan will inspect the 6 pop star wannabes, searching for the one who looks, sounds, and acts most like their celebrity obsession.

 

After a series of challenges and eliminations, three finalists square off, performing some of the superstar's hit songs. In the end, the wannabe that best embodies the look and feel of the dream celebrity will be the one our super-fan calls “My Own.”

 

In Season 2, MTV will give our fans their very own Brandon Flowers, Fergie, Nick Lachey, Rihanna, Joel Madden among many others including “Take 2’s” of last season’s greatest hits such as Jessica Simpson and Beyonce.
