Our Review of Title

The George Lopez show is not a show for everyone – only those that want to laugh their heads off.  The premise for the show is simple, a man of Hispanic origin and his family struggle through life in a blue color society, then he gets a job as a manager.  In some ways it is a cross between Rosanne and The Office with a Latin twist.

 The first two episodes introduce Lopez and his family with the usual zany antics you expect from a well-written sitcom.  His kids are normal kids from the world of TV (cute older daughter and annoying younger brother), he has a beautiful wife (played by Constance Marie) and of course, there is the mom (Belita Moreno). It is a well-written comedy for the whole family.

 The bonus features from this set of both seasons one and two also includes a few special features.  You get to know the cast and the going-ons behind the scenes from the featurette Inside the Comic Mind, where the cast talks about their experiences on the set.  There is also a very funny outtake/gag reel that is worth watching.
