Yes, Captain Parmenter and his buffoons in blue are ready again to untame the wilderness in TV’s wackiest Western spoof. “To this day, F-Troop remains one of the funniest classic television comedies ever made.  It was a wonderful, clever spoof of a genre that was very popular in its day.  It featured a very talented, entertaining cast of characters and lots of silly gags that are just as fresh and funny today as they were years ago,” commented Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV Marketing.  She added, “We are pleased to offer the second and final season of this classic show to consumers. Now they can enjoy the full F-Troop collection anytime they want.”

Our Review of F-Troop 2nd Season DVD

The most surprising thing about the second season of F-Troop is that it was the show's last season.  It was a great comedy series with strong writing and even stronger acting.  It has become a "classic" in its own right and it is finally here for us all to enjoy on DVD.  [This was one DVD series I have been waiting a while to be produced.]

Just as in the first season, our main characters are up to their old zany antics such as Sergeant O'Rourke and Corporal Agon's pursuit to make some extra side money, Captain Parmenter's unique way of running the fort and Wrangler Jane's infatuation with Parmenter.  In addition, the same assortment of wacky fort personnel, Native Americans and occasional guests make their way into the episodes. Some of the occasional guests include Milton Berle, Vincent Price, Harvey Korman and Phil Harris all at their comical best.

It is a shame this went off the air after only two seasons.  There was a lot of more comedy that this crew could have dished out.  Luckily, we have these DVD to remember it by or the occasional re-run.
