– An exciting tale of survival, perseverance and hope that teaches valuable
lessons about social order and teamwork, FLIGHT 29 DOWN: VOLUME ONE lands
on DVD June 5 from Genius Products LLC. and Discovery Kids. Originally airing
on the Discovery Kids Channel, the first four episodes of season one have been
re-cut into a feature length ‘movie’ following the adventures of a group of kids
marooned on a deserted island. With only their own resourcefulness to keep them
safe until rescue comes, the kids are forced to rise above their differences in
order to survive… learning to trust in themselves – and in each other – along
the way. The cast of bright-eyed actors is led by tween heartthrob Corbin Bleu
(High School Musical, Catch That Kid, Jump In!), who is scheduled to
release his hotly-anticipated first album in Spring 2007. Other cast members
include: Hallee Hirsh (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “E.R.”), Allen Alvarado, Jeremy James
Kissner, Johnny Pacar, Lauren Storm and Kristy Wu. The FLIGHT 29 DOWN:
VOLUME ONE DVD will feature extensive bonus materials, including exclusive
behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast.

retail price of $14.95.
Synopsis
Headed for a school eco-adventure
camping trip in Micronesia, a group of high school students find themselves
stranded on a deserted island when their charter plane crashes during a tropical
storm. They think they won’t be there for long – but they’re wrong. The kids
and their pilot must learn to get along in order to survive.
