Network to Air Sneak Peek During Super Bowl® Halftime of Upcoming Series with Former NFL Superstar Deion Sanders and Family

NEW YORK – Oxygen kicks-off the launch of its new reality series Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love on Super Bowl® Sunday with a special “SuperSneak” look at the series. The show follows the home life of NFL superstar Deion Sanders and his wife, Pilar and five kids in small town Texas. The 22-minute, commercial free sneak peek is set to air during the Super Bowl® halftime show on February 3rd breaking into Oxygen’s regularly scheduled programming. The episode also will be streamed online on oxygen.com.

 

Harry Kalas, the widely recognized sportscaster best known as the voice-over narrator for NFL Films, is scheduled to introduce the “SuperSneak” as well the show’s trailers and on-air promos.

 “Get ready for a very entertaining, very Oxygen halftime show,” said Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo Media and Oxygen Media.   “We couldn’t think of a better way to give our audience a sneak peak of Deion and Pilar.  It’s a fun show about a bigger than life personality who just happens to be a football legend.”

 

Fans will get a one-time only look at Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love before its scheduled premiere Tuesday, April 15. The eight episode series follows the home life of sports superstar Deion Sanders – the only athlete to ever play in both a Super Bowl® and a World Series – and his wife Pilar. A former model and glamorous big city girl, Pilar lives with Deion and their five children in the small town of Prosper, TX – population 2,000. A homemaker and devoted mother, Pilar wants to show her husband and the world and that she brings more to the table than just dinner.

The “SuperSneak” features the episode in which Deion refuses to help with housework because he is too busy “thinking” about his football picks for a live radio show.  Not wanting to play by his rules, Pilar issues a challenge:  if Pilar can do his radio job as well as he can, then Deion can assist with house chores. Meanwhile, daughter Deiondra has a hot date and an over-protective Deion offers to “help” her prepare.
