Alex is a Featured Artist on Radio Disney for December!!!!

December 18th, a star was born! Alex Jasin has been called “The Next Big Thing” by the Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald. Michael Jackson told Alex, “you are truly a great performer and you will be a big star soon” and Parkland Life Magazine named Alex “The Prince of Pop”. Everywhere he goes he has stolen the attention of audiences of all generations.

At six months old he began to sing harmonies while he listened to his brother, Jon, play Bach and Mozart on the piano. Alex joined Jon at the piano and they both sang and played when Alex was five. They called the duo, “The Jasin Brothers”. They both are classically trained pianists playing for more than a decade. Both Alex and Jon decided to change the direction of their duo. Jon wanted to write the music and Alex wanted to sing it.

Alex auditioned for Transcontinental Records, who started the careers of The Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. They encouraged Alex’s dream and explained he was too young at that time, but to continue singing and gaining experience.

Alex proved his determination as he juggled “A’s” in school (always the priority) while he traveled to Orlando every weekend for vocal/acting lessons and began recording. DM Records, in Florida, offered him a recording contract to be part of a boy/girl singing group. Alex learned about making the right choices for his career and decided not to sign with that label. The song “Choices” was written by his brother Jon from that experience and Alex continued to record songs with Jon music from the age of 9.

Alex’s show continued to grow as he added the XL dancers. They traveled for the next couple of years and performed at many well known events. Alex knows the importance of giving back and donated his show to many charities such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, United Way and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation just to name a few.

Alex took his show on the road throughout the US and the Caribbean. The next two years began with Radio Disney in South Florida then he was off to L. A. to perform for a sold out audience at the famous “House of Blues”. Sony Records requested Alex to record a song for them in the spring and by the summer they were headed to the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. Then Alex was asked to bring his show to the islands of Jamaica and Curacao. The year wrapped up with the Winterfest Boat Parade and the Walt Disney World/CBS Christmas Tree Lighting Special on Alex’s birthday.

In August of this year Alex Jasin was named as the opening act for the NextFest Tour’s Florida shows. The tour was a national concert event put on by Live Nation consisting of musical acts, Aly & AJ, Corbin Bleu and Drake Bell. Alex heated up the audience and was a tremendous success. The next stop is in December. Then he will be the national featured artist on Radio Disney and will be appearing in the Wintefest Boat Parade.

Alex has also been in the studio writing and recording his own music which lets him express his feelings. Making music is Alex’s platform to send out a positive message and encourage kids to grow as well rounded individuals. Alex has been told he’s a cross between Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Michael Jackson.

Alex works hard at his music and touring but he also makes time to do other things he loves. When he’s home he likes to hang out with his friends, go to the movies and always makes time for the gym. He’s a regular kid, with an extraordinary dream.
