Jamie Lynn Spears is Pregnant at 16

OK! Magazine reported that Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of fallen diva Britney Spears has announced that she is pregnant. We have all heard about the antics of the elder Spears, but the younger sister is known for playing a young and intelligent girl going to school out in California. In her role as Zoey (on Zoey 101), she is the one who thinks of the great ideas that usually get her friends out of trouble. Zoey lives in a world where kids are polite, do their homework, and do not have sex (or anything beyond a kiss). She was never seen out club-hopping, getting into trouble, taking drugs or even drinking on the show or in her public life. Meanwhile, the sixteen year old star, was having sex with her boyfriend from back home in Louisiana. Zoey 101 is one of Nickelodeon's highest rated shows. However, the third season of the show is still being aired, and the fourth season has already been filmed.
The name of the father is named Casey Aldridge, a nineteen year old boy that she met in church in her home town. Not much is known about him, except that they were reportedly looking to move in together a few weeks ago (against the advice of Britney).
Britney Spears supposedly did not know about her sister's pregnancy until recently after reading it in the news. However, she supports her sister. Her mother, Lynne Spears, is also shocked and disappointed by the news, but supportive of her daughter (Jamie did not immediately tell her family about the pregnancy). In a related note about her mother's book about parenting ("Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World") has been indefinitely delayed from being published.
