Amazing Hawaiian Pro Bowl Package

Enter The Raffle to Win a Pro Bowl Package Including Round Trip Air To Hawaii, Tickets to the Game, plus much more!!!

Cam Langenfeld PosterWe do not usually do this, but we are posting this information on our site after hearing about a kid who was trying to raise some money after his younger brother was needlessly killed by a motorist that was allegedly under the influence of drugs (the case is currently going on).  The two brothers were raised by a single mother, and after the younger brother was hit by the car, they spent a lot of money on medical and then funeral expenses.  The older brother became worried that there will not be enough money for him to college.  He was also a sports memorabilia (autograph) collector.  So he wrote to former sports players asking for them to autograph the cards he sent them and he would then sell the autographed cards and will use the money for the Cameron Langenfeld Memorial Fund, in memory of his brother.  For Cameron's obituary, please read: http://www.tribstar.com/obituaries/local_story_158234028.html, or information on the accident, read: http://www.tribstar.com/local/local_story_158234311.html. This was a story that hit me hard, and I felt like I needed to help this kid, and by letting our visitors know was the best way to make this happen.

One of the players he wrote to was Robin Earl, a running back with the Chicago Bears from 1977-1982.  Mr. Earl owns a firm that has a large charitable arm that raises money for various causes.  When he read the boys letter with the autograph request, he went back to his firm and in no time, he contacted the Langenfelds and they helped to established this raffle to raise money. For and article on this story please read http://www.tribstar.com/news/local_story_299231851.html. For information about the Robin Earl's charity, please visit: www.ipacharities.org/list.asp

The package is not just the airfare and the tickets, it is a whole VIP package, which I figure is probably worth between $7,500 and $8,000. The whole package includes:

Round-trip airfare, leaving Feb. 7 and returning Feb. 11,
• Four nights lodging in the Hyatt Regency Waikiki,
Limo to and from airport,
Breakfast buffet each morning,
• Friday night Pro-Bowl Kickoff Reception, including entertainment and appearances by NFL players and cheerleaders,
Saturday night NFL VIP party at the Royal Hawaiian, with drinks, food and entertainment included,
• entrance to the official NFL Pro-Bowl Tailgate Party on game day
sideline game tickets in the lower level, shady side
transfers to and from the game

Raffles are $25 each and can be purchased in various locations within Terra Haute, however, if not in Terra Haute, tickets can be purchased via mail by check/money order made out to the Robin D. Earl Charitable Foundation.  They should be mailed to his mom: c/o Pam Langenfeld, 1843 So. 27th St., Terre Haute, In 47803 and she will send you the Raffle ticket.

She will also take PayPal, and you can email her directly for payment or any other information at sportsmompam1@aol.com.

Unlike all the rest of the contests on this site that are promoting something, and are free to enter, there is no promoting going on here, just trying to help out someone in need.   $25 is not cheap, but it is going to a good cause, and the winner will win an awesome trip that will be an amazing experience.
