Zedstar Interviewed About Italian Soccer

Zedstar condemn the Italian laws and their superficiality against sad events of the Italian soccer

Even pop-stars are disappointed by the recent tragedy of the last Italian soccer match (Catania - Palermo) that have caused the death of a 38 years old policeman. Zedstar was interviewed yesterday while he was getting out of one of the most important restaurant of the Italian capital city. The young singer has began talking about the family of the principal victim of the incident, inviting the Italian Government to stay near as possible to his wife and his two little sons.
Then he has continued with a severe criticism against the Italian laws: "Years ago English soccer have seen many sad events like this, but with a great persistence the English Government have implemented laws with which they have given back the sport the families. Now every week we can see the English stadiums full of quite persons that can see the match without any fence between there and the soccer field. Of course the violence that surrounded football has not completely disappeared, but it is very well controlled. In England when a common person is identified in the security cameras' videos while he is doing something violent, the police immediately arrest him and he remains in prison for at least 6 months, then starts the trial. In Italy these fools are arrested practically for one day. The next day they are totally free of repeat these violent actions." At the end he said:" I fully agree with the decision of the Extraordinary Commissioner Pancalli of stopping the Italian football for at least one weak. This situation needs a drastic change."
