UNIVERSAL CITY, CA (October 25, 2006) – Vivendi Visual Entertainment presents the latest addition to National Lampoon's popular series of films with the outrageous, unrated, laugh-out-loud DVD release of Pledge This! coming December 19, 2006.   Featuring Paris Hilton (TV’s “The Simple Life”), Paula Garcés (Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle), Simon Rex (Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4) and Geoffrey Arend (Super Troopers).  The DVD will be released both in its original theatrical format as well as a never-before-released unrated version.  Pledge This! has an SRP of $26.99.

Synopsis:

Get ready for National Lampoon’s wild and outrageous, UNRATED college comedy Pledge This! -  the version that couldn’t be shown in theaters.   

School’s starting and the boys are hot and ready for a new crop of girls.  At South Beach University, Gloria (Paula Garces, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle) and her naïve freshman friends join a whirlwind tour where anything goes – free love, girl on girl action and much more.  Life becomes a series of hilarious adventures from condom roundups to naked parties.  But when Victoria (Paris Hilton, The Simple Life), the queen of mean, declares war on the freshman, things really get hot.

Pledge This! is a hilarious comedy in the over-the-top tradition of National Lampoon comedies like Animal House and Van Wilder.

Co-starring in the film are Paula Garces, Holly Valance, Simon Rex, Geoffrey Arend, Kerry Kenney, Sarai Howard, and Sarah Carter.  Also featured are Amanda Lee Aday, Bianca Lawson, Noureen Dewulf, Diva Zappa, Rick Najera, Alex Thorpe, Amanda Rowan, Sofia Vergara, Carmen Electra and Randy Spelling.

The film is directed by William Heins, who began his career at MTV Networks and was produced by Jack Utsick and Juan Carlos Zapata.  The film is executive produced by Paris Hilton, Chester English, Jim DiLorenzo, Gary Gittelsohn, Gregory Cohen, Jeremy Dallow, Ash Shah, Angad Paul and Wayne Mogul.
