Wesley Snipes Is Indicted on Tax Fraud Charges

Actor Wesley Snipes, most known for his role as Blade the Vampire Hunter, has been indicted on  Federal Tax Charges.  The charges go back to actions beginning in the late 1990s, when Snipes had apparently claimed refunds totaling $12 million dollars in 1996-97.  The accountants he used received 20% of this refund money.  Then he did not file a return again until 2005.  Snipes could receive a maximum sentence of sixteen years if convicted.
