Britney Spears Files For Divorce From Kevin Federline

Britney Spears filed for divorce on Tuesday from husband Kevin Federline citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple was married on February 28, 2004 and the media has speculated it since February 29th when the couple would separate. Spears gave birth to two children with Federline (Sean Preston and Jayden James). This was Spears second marriage. She was previous married to a friend (Jason Alexander) for less than three days after a spur of the moment Las Vegas wedding. Federline is currently touring to promote his album and Spears is finishing up her next album due to be released next year. Also of note is that there was an iron-clad pre-nup signed by both parties. {Reported by Ian Ripley}
