Madonna Tells Oprah She Was Drawn In By Adopted Malawi Boy

Yesterday, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Madonna talked about how she was drawn in by the young boy the first time she saw him – even before she had thoughts of adoption.  She also told Oprah and her viewers that she did not believe the media was going to make such a big deal of the adoption and that Banda, the boys father understood everything that was going on, until the media began to put words in his mouth.  She also blasts the media for placing the adoption in such a bad light and hope it does not discourage others from adopting there as well. {Reported by Ian Ripley}
