INFECTIOUS NEW SINGLE
Impacting Australian radio on Monday
2 October, Melissa Tkautz returns to the airwaves with her new single EASILY
AFFECTED. The single released on October 21 is the second track lifted from
Melissa’s forthcoming new album GLAMOROUS LIFE, scheduled in store
December.
EASILY AFFECTED was written, produced and mixed by Swedish pop hit-makers
2N. The insatiable hook of the chorus and Melissa’s silky vocals lace the
driving dance groove. Released this spring, EASILY AFFECTED is sure to
heat up the clubs and airwaves well into summer. And watch out for the hot
video, where Melissa sizzles with her on-screen love interest, TV hunk Jesse
Tobin – host of Channel 7’s weekend music program Eclipse Music TV.
Eager to perform her new music, Melissa is soon to embark on a national club
tour throughout October and November.
Melissa returned to the scene in 05 with the sassy remake of the Sheila E 80’s
classic GLAMOROUS LIFE. It rocked in Top 30 on the ARIA singles chart
and was Top 10 club and dance chart smash. The single has since been released
in Europe charting Top Ten in various countries and is slated for release in
Scandinavia and Canada.
A true pop industry survivor, Melissa’s made her debut in 1990 with her single
“Read My Lips” which launched from her starring role in E Street in 1990. It
debuted at # 1 on the Australian charts. The follow up single “Sexy (Is The
Word)” debuted at #3 and achieved Gold status. Melissa received two ARIA Awards
(Australian Recording Industry Association) for her debut album, “Fresh” which
achieved Platinum sales status in Australia.
EASILY AFFECTED is released on October 21 and is taken from the
forthcoming album GLAMOROUS LIFE, out in December - both released through
RAJON MUSIC
