Boy George Is Touring New York – He’s Picking Up Garbage

In order to fulfill his court ordered community service, Boy George will be in New York City the week of August 14^th to pick up garbage for one week.  Boy George, whose real name is George O’Dowd was the lead singe of the very popular pop group Culture Club in the 1980s.  The community service was ordered after he pleaded guilty to a falsely reporting a burglary incident at his home in lower Manhattan. {Reported by Ian Ripley}
