Peter Cook to Christie Brinkley: “I’m sorry . .  . I was stupid”

Peter Cook made a public apology to his wife, former supermodel Christie Brinkley for his affair with 18 year old Diana Bianchi.  He said he was sorry for what he had done, that his actions were stupid and that he would like to get back together with her, if she would let them.  Cook is Brinkely’s fourth husband.  They have been married for ten years and had one daughter together, Sailor Lee.  Brinkley has two other children, a daughter named Alexa (age 20 with Billy Joel) and a son named Jack (age 11, with Richard Taubman), who Cook subsequently adopted. {Reported by Ian Ripley}
