I
cannot believe it has been 25 years since the movie Poltergeist was
first released. I remember going to the movies to see it, and I
was not that young (although much younger than today). Since I am
really reviewing the 25th Anniversay DVD, I am not going to be reviewing
the movie itself to a great extent. Basically, it was a really
good movie. It was a horror movie that was done quite well, that
was not just all about gore and guts, but also had a good main plot and
subblots to it. The characters themselves were either very
believeable (some great acting by decent actors) or were very
interesting (Tangina Barrons played by Zelda Rubinsein). I have
seen the movie a few times between then and now, and I still enjoy it (I
do have the original version in my collection on VHS).
