Katharine Hepburn is one of the most beautiful women of all time.  Take that and add academy award winning performances and every time you watch her movies you are in for a big treat.  In this DVD collection celebrating the 100th anniversary of her birthday gives us not one, but six delicious tidbits of cinema ecstasy.

The collection covers a forty six year span of movies from the 1933 classic Morning Glory to the beloved 1979 film The Corn Is Green. Hepburn was born on May 12, 1907 and appeared in her first film, A Bill of Divorcement in 1932.  Her last appearance on the silver screen was in 1985, with her last appearance in the TV movie One Christmas in 1994.  She passed away in 2003, but her art lives on.

This DVD includes six of her greatest performances.  As we mentioned, it begins with Morning Glory (1933) in her Oscar winning role as a struggling actress.  Next we see her paired up with Spencer Tracy and Lucille Ball in the comedy Without Love (1945).  She then takes on a more serious role in 1946's WWII error movie Dragon Seed.  Other great pair-ups can be seen when she co-stars in Sylvia Scarlett (1936) with Robert Mitchum and with Robert Taylor in Undercurrent.  No Katherine Hepburn collection is complete without one of the works from the later, more mature Katharine and this DVD includes one of the best, The Corn is Green (1979).  Besides these great movies, also don't forget to watch the bonuses for some extra insight and some pretty funny videos.
