I Trust You To Kill Me (2006)

Plot of I Trust You To Kill Me

A Rockumentary about a band (Rocco DeLuca & The Burden) on the road with Kiefer Sutherland.

Review of I Trust You To Kill Me

How would you like to be an up and coming band and have a huge name in entertainment backing you?  This is a Rockumentary about a band named Rocco DeLuca & The Burden on the road with Kiefer Sutherland, who is standing behind this band.  The band itself is good and the lead singer/guitarist Rocco DeLuca is an amazing guitarist. The band has some great lyrics and this video only shows a glimpse into their stage presence.  However, the video seems to be more about how Sutherland interacts with the band as it goes around on tour.

The video is kind of black and edgy, with the definite feel of a documentary.  It includes many cuts between interviews and the band playing and practicing.  Once again, there are a lot of sequences of Sutherland.  He happens to be on tour as well helping to promote "24" - but takes out time to help promote the band, including handing out free tickets outside of a club the band was playing at to astonished passer-bys.  There are also some amusing scenes, especially when they first get to a club in England.

A well produced documentary which keeps your interest and provides you with information about the band and what they are going through.  Not the glitz of the MTv rockumentaries, but more in-depth and raw that allows you to feel the music itself.
