Dirty Work (1998)

Plot of Dirty Work

Two out-of-luck guys need to make money fast  and they do so by opening up a "revenge for hire" business.

Review of Dirty Work

Spoiler Warning

This 1998 comedy stars a wide variety of successful actors: Norm MacDonald (who plays Mitch Weaver) resurfaced in this movie along with co-stars Artie Lang from the Howard Stern Show (Sam McKenna) and Chevy Chase (Doctor Farling).  The plot revolves around the antics of Mitch Weaver and Sam McKenna who start up a revenge-for-hire business in order to raise $50,000 to help raise money for their father (Jack Warden) who needed a heart transplant following a heart-attack.  After being arrested for a money-making antic which involved placing popcorn kernels inside a bulldozer to help an old woman save her home, local millionaire real estate mogul Travis Cole (Christopher McDonald) hires the two men for a huge job.  The completion of this job will result in a $50,000 payment, and involves the condemning of a building Cole claims to own.  When the building is destroyed and condemned, Mitch and Sam find out that the building does not belong to Cole.  The movie ends as Mitch and Sam pull one final prank to get their money from Cole.  Their father is saved, Mitch gets the girl.  Although this movie contains humorous statements and witty comments, most of the material is not appropriate for certain viewers.
