is the son of Prince Franceso Borghese and Amanda Leigh. His mother's

under the family name. Prince Lorenzo also has a brother, Scipione, and
a sister, Ilaria.

Role as Bachelor
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details
follow.
Prince Lorenzo is the 9th bachelor on ABC’s
The Bachelor. Lorenzo was supposed to choose a potential wife from a
total of 25 American women, but later in the first show two Italian
women were brought in. The set for this season included the Villa
Borghese and other famous sites in and around Rome, Italy. As he is the
only member of his family who is not married, it was said to be
especially important to him and his family that he find a suitable wife.
(The internet has rumors indicating Lorenzo is gay.) Lorenzo chose Jen
over Sadie during the season finale. He gave Jen a "family ring" his
mother had created during the show. When Lorenzo gave Jen the ring he
stated that at this time he would not ask her to marry him. He said he
wanted them to spend time in the real world to verify his feelings. Jen
accepted the ring and said she wanted to try to make it work with him
and that she would move to New York to be with him.
