Review of Soul of a Songwriter
If you remember watching Sister Act 2 then you must have heard him. How could one forget that timid young boy belting out “Oh Happy Day”!
 
His voice was incredible then and things haven’t changed much. With the exception of no longer being with the trio “City High,” Ryan Toby is flying solo with his upcoming debut album “Soul of a Songwriter.”
 
Ryan Toby is set to bring back what’s been missing from R&B, good songwriting. With club-bangers like “Just My Thang” featuring Beanie Siegal and the remake of Stevie Wonders’ “All I Do” Toby tops it off with ballades that every R& B album needs.
