The Pack has released their debut album, Skateboards 2 Scrapers.  The colorful and cheerful wrapping and picture of these young boys is deceiving.  Within moments of listening to “Vans,” the first track on the album, it becomes clear that the Parental Advisory sticker is more than just a suggestion.  The album contains some raw lyrics about youngsters, life and living the fast life.  Sex and bragging, of course, is the focus of most of the songs. 

 

The group does have a pleasant sound and croons to a well-produced beat and instrumentals.   The highlight of the album is the “Vans” remix featuring Too $hort and Mistah F.A.B.  They show great harmony with a lot of potential.  It is a good try for a first try with catchy lyrics and beat, and the production of the album (by Young L) is to be commended.
