Review of My Secret Journal Live
Mike Birbiglia is a great story teller.  He just has a knack to make a story come out funny.  These are not just routines, but stories that have become routines.  The difference is that I am sure regardless of what type of story he was telling, it would come out funny - as opposed to those wanna be comedians where the story comes out rehearsed.  He is just fluid and creates a contagious atmosphere of laughter.

A truly delightful comedy album, and from a comedian that does not need to go to the cheap cursing or body fluid jokes.  He just turns stories into laughter.  This is one album I am glad I had the chance to review and will most probably listen to it again.  It is far from the worst show he ever did.

About Mike Birbiglia

Mike Birbiglia, one of the nation's most beloved comedians, has returned for his second album, this time a collection of his best “My Secret Public Journal” entries.  With his relentless tour schedule and TV appearances, Mike is a consistent headliner packing out clubs from coast to coast.  With his unique, low-key nice guy style and self-effacing jokes he has earned a rabid fan following and his Comedy Central debut "Two Drink Mike” has sold well over 25,000 copies.
