Review of The Evolution (Deluxe Edition)
Ciara showed what she was made of in her debut not long ago with a hit album and three #1 songs.  The title of this young artist's album is entitled The Evolution.  As you listen to the album you can feel a sense of an evolution of her music and life building before your eyes and ears.

The album contains a solid mixture of great sounds and music from the "That's Right," the first track through the last, "I Found Myself" which is also a summation of the musical journey you have just traversed.  She provides interludes before each stage of her evolution and they are divided into "The Evolution of Music," "The Evolution of Dance, "The Evolution of Fashion," and "The Evolution of C."

The album also contains the hot song "Get Up" which is already a hit and has been getting a lot of playtime on local radio stations as well as "Promise," which is one of my favorite tracks on the album.  You will also enjoy many of her other tracks, such as "Like A Boy" and "Crush."

If you get the deluxe edition, it also includes a fantastic DVD which includes the videos for "Get Up" and "Promise" as well as some behind the scenes making of these videos. A real nice treat to an already great CD.

This CD is sure to be as hot as the first one -- and another must have for your collection.
