The princess of the Inc is back on the scene with fourth studio album, The Declaration.  Setting the tone for her album with first single "The Way That I Love You," her first top 40 hit since 2004's "Only U", Ashanti delivers a refined performance.  Channeling help from hitmaker, Akon, Nelly, and Robin Thicke,  Ms. Douglas leaves us with some rare gems, including "The Things You Make Me Do" a breathy duet with Robin Thicke. However, the songstress continues to play it safe allowing her album to become a replica of every other R&B album out.
