If Fabio makes you laugh, this album is for you (you'll understand this when you
listen to the first track). Anyway, the content is definitely not for the
younger viewer or those that find body fluids, sex, or politics offensive.
There are a long list of comics on the album. Although not every comic was
great, their were some that were outstandingly funny that will have you laughing
wherever you are listening - work, car, home, etc. The variety of comics is
definitely something that could be a plus for this album, but at times when you
get into a routine for one comic, you want more, but you are introduced to the
next one. Some of my favorites were Todd Glass, Hard n' Phirm, Patton
Oswalt, Neil Hamburger & Brian Posehn.
It is a fun CD. It is not like an old Eddie Murphy album, but it is a
great comedy CD overall. I am sure that you will enjoy the album. |

Comedy Death-Ray, Los Angeles's premier comedy
show, has been the place to see the best emerging comedy in Los Angeles
for almost five years, with its legendary all-night anniversary shows of
the LA "alternative" comedy scene. Comedy Death-Ray showcases both
veteran stand-up comedians as well as new talent every Tuesday night at
LA's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
Taped both at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles during
the fourth anniversary all-night show, and in San Francisco during CDR's
special SF Sketchfest show, the 2-CD set will showcase almost 150
minutes of the best comedians performing today. Appearing on the disc
are alternative comedy luminaries David Cross, Patton Oswalt, Paul F.
Tompkins, Neil Hamburger, Maria Bamford, Brian Poseihn, Reno 911, Doug
Benson, Todd Glass, Hard ‘N’ Phirm and many, many more.
Comedy Death Ray Is over 150 minutes of all
meat, no fat standup comedy.
