Baby Boy da Prince's album is fresh.  Its got a great beat with some funky lyrics that keep you listening and grinding to the sound.  The lyrics are raw and sometimes nasty, but when you think about it, he is just saying what is on his mind and keeping it real and with times.  He may curse a little bit here and there, but his message is clear. He talks about himself, money and women, but it is a story of many of his listeners as well -- or sometimes their fantasy.

The skits that interlude the CD are outrageous and each has a point -- if you miss the message, then hit your rewind.  He comes straight at you with his songs and does not hold anything back -- if you want some safe old-school, then Across the Water is something you may want to avoid -- but if moving, grinding music is what you desire, then Baby Boy da Prince delivers.
