NICOLETTE SHERIDAN BIOGRAPHY
Nicolette Sheridan was
born on November 21, 1963 in Worthing,
England. Her mother is actress Sally
Sheridan and her grandmother was actress Dinah
Sheridan. She has a half-brother, Nick Savalas,
son of actor Telly Savalas (best know for his
role as Kojak).
She grew up in a carefree
show-biz home. As a young teenager, she
dated singer and teen hearth throb Lief Garret
for six years and even moved in with him.
Her first professional
role on television was in 1986 on Paper Dolls,
followed by her first movie appearance the
following year in The Sure Thing.
Her big break came in
1987, when she landed the role as sexy Paige
Matheson for seven years on the hit television
series Knots Landing.
In 1990 she was voted
voted one of the 50 most beautiful people in the
world by People magazine.
She was married to actor
Harry Hamlin on September 7, 1991 but they were
divorced by 1993.
From the mid-1990's to the
early 2000's she was in a few, and sometimes
mildly successful movies, including Beverly
Hills Ninja, I Woke Up Early The Day I
Died, and .com For Murder.
Her career has taken a
turn for the better in 2004 with her role as
Edie Britt in the hit TV series Desperate
Housewives.
She had become engaged to be married to Swedish actor Niklas
Soderblom in 2004, however, the couple broke off
the engagement in October 2005.

After her break-up with Soderblom, Sheridan began re-dating singer
Michael Bolton in 2006 (they had previously
dated after they first met in 1991), and he they
soon became engaged – however, they broke off
the engagement in 2008.
Nicole Sheridan posed naked for an ad for a London Fog charity in
2008 (along with Michael Bolton).
In 2009 she began working on the pilot for an unnamed TV comedy
series, but it never made it to the small screen
for the 2010 season.
A $20 million dollar lawsuit, in April 2010, was filed by Sheridan
against Marc Cherry, the creator and producer of
Desperate Housewives. She claims that
Cherry assaulted her (amongst other things) and
was wrongfully fired when she reported this to
the network. Her former co-workers have all
pledged their support to defend Cherry against
her allegations.
