She had natural talents as a dancer and
quickly began finding work dancing professionally. She began appearing
in music videos, beginning in 1999, including: “So Real” by
Mandy Moore, “All For You” by
Janet Jackson, “Gossip Folks” by
Missy Elliot, “One Heart” by
Celine Dion, “Juramento” by
Ricky Martin and “Get Up” by
Ciara and
Chamillionaire. She was also a
back-up dancer for
Diddy on the “We
Invented the Remix” Tour and for Janet Jackson on the “All For You”
World Tour. She also was a back-up singer for NSYNC and dated
Justin Timberlake and was
reportedly the reason for Timerlake’s long-ago breakup with
Britney Spears.
In 2004, she turned her talents towards
acting and landed her first jon in the role of Haley on an episode of
Quintuplets. The following year she had a small role in the movie
Waterborne and even appeared in an episode of the short-run TV
series Joey. However, it was also in 2005 that she starred in
her first movie, Tamara.
It was not long until this talented young
beauty received other roles and co-starred along side
Channing Tatum (rumored to be her
current boyfriend) in the dance-centric movie Step Up and has
also appeared in another dance oriented movie, Take the Lead. She
will also soon be appearing in The Grudge 2.
