Born on August 14th, 1966 in
Cleveland, Ohio. Parents are Jerome and Judith Berry. She also has an
older sister named Heidi.
Halle won the Miss Teen
All-American Beauty Pageant in 1985.
In 1986 she was the first
runner-up in the Miss America Beauty Pageant.

mid-1980's as a Model.
She began acting, and landed
a spot on a TV series entitled Living Dolls in 1989.
In 1991, she was given her
first movie role in Jungle Fever
Halle
Berry married baseball player David Justice in
early 1993. The marriage lasted until 2006
when they broke up, and the divorce was
finalized in 2007. She told interviewers that
she was very depressed due to the breakup.
In 1997
she was presented with the Acapulco Black Film Festival’s Career Achievement Award
BET
awarded her the Best Actress Award in 2000
Berry
married for a second time in 2001 to
Eric Benét. However, they separated in
2003 and divorced in 2005.

Swordfish. After turning down many roles
where she would have to appear naked, she
finally relented due to the support of her then
husband
Eric Benét.

humor (and with her Academy Award in the other
hand)
Halle
Berry began dating model Gabriel Aubry in 2005.
They had a daughter together in March 2008 named
Nahla Ariela Aubry. The couple split in
April 2010 -- and filed papers for joint custody

She
was graced with a star on the Hollywood Walk of
Fame in 2007 (in front of the Kodak theater).
During a taping on the Tonight Show with Jay
Leno in October 2007, after looking at a
distorted picture of herself, she said "Here's
where I look like my Jewish cousin." The
comment was drowned out by a laugh track.
Esquire Magazine named her the "Sexiest Woman
Alive" in October 2008
The
film, Cloud Atlas, in which she stars, is
to be released in late 2012.
Actor
Olivier Martinez, whom Berry has been dating
