Eva Green was born on July 5, 1980 in
Paris, Fance to Marlène Jobert (actress) and Walter Green
(dentist). She has a twin sister (fraternal) named Eva. [fact
fact: her last name is pronounced “grain”].

She always had a love of music and
acting, even as a child (although her mother told her not to). She
began to study performance arts at a young age and appeared on stage
a few times as a child and teenager.

Her big screen debut was in the 2003
film as Isabelle in The Dreamers by Bernardo Bertolucci.
[Yes, she did appear nude in this film] The talented Eva not only
had a role in the film that was critically acclaimed, but also
composed the music. She was nominated for the European Film Award
for Best Actress for her role.

Her second film role came in 2004, in
the French film Arsène Lupin, however, it was 2005 when she
had her first major role in a motion picture as Sibylla in the
blockbuster Kingdon of Heaven with
Orlando Bloom.

She is currently slated to appear in
three upcoming films, Zhivaya Riba (2006), In the Country of the
Last Things (2007) and was just recently chosen as the next bond
girl in the next 007 film (Casino Royal) alongside
Daniel Craig.
