Trivia
Rosenbaum did not shave his head before
auditioning for the part of Lex Luthor.
Ironically, in an episode of Justice League
Unlimited, the Flash trades bodies with Lex Luthor for a brief period of
time. Unlike most animated series' that have used this situation, the
voice actors continued to provide the voices of their character's normal
bodies, so The Flash's body still sounded like the Flash, even while it
was inhabited by Luthor's mind. Thus Rosenbaum voiced Lex Luthor for
most of the episode.
He is left handed.
In 2001, Michael Rosenbaum received a
Saturn Award for his portrayal of Lex Luthor. In an interview he stated
that actor John Shea of Lois and Clark was his inspiration for
portraying the character.
He has the dubious distinction of having
been knocked unconscious more times than any other character on
Smallville during the span of the show (35 times as of season 5).[1]
His favorite band is Guns N' Roses
Rosenbaum, according to the producers of
Batman Beyond, does an excellent imitation of actor Christopher Walken.
Has an uncanny resemblance to Alan Ruck.
