Scooby-Doo has always been one of my favorite cartoons and by this time had already been like an old friend. Yes, the episodes always have the same plot -- the Ghostbusters find themselves in a Mystery, at some point Shaggy & Scooby goof up, then Velma usually figures it out in the end. Although I do like these episodes, they do include Scrappy, who I do not think was a great addition to the crime solving team. But, Scooby-Doo is Scooby-Doo and it is always great to watch (I even find myself watching an occasional episode of Scooby-Doo when it is on TV).
The episodes are of good quality and was great to watch -- however, kids today would even enjoy these "old" cartoons as well. The DVD, to my surprise does include a really cool special feature -- The Story of the Richie-Rich show, which includes a lot of interesting facts and information about the origins and creations of the show -- a must see. My only criticism is that the DVD only includes one season, instead of the two so I will have to wait until the next DVD release to see the remainder of the episodes.
