SÍ TV LAUNCHES GROUNDBREAKING COLLECTIVE OF WEBSITES FOR YOUNG LATINO AUDIENCEDigital talent incubator connects artists and consumers
Sí TV, the media company targetting 18- to -34-year-old Latinos who prefer their content in English, has launched two new community-based Web sites that emphasize emerging artist and indie content, as well as allow users to share videos and other creative material.
The community-based and social networking sites –www.sientertainment.com and http://trends.sitv.com -- focus on user-generated material but also feature content from Sí TV shows and talent. Sí TV has signed contracts with 150 emerging artists and has launched significant integrated campaigns using this talent base.
The two websites are the first to deliver content created exclusively by and for the most dynamic demographic in America today, the Latino 18-34 segment. The sites provide a content- based digital platform that delivers emerging artist and indie content tailored to young Latinos.
"The launch of our new websites and related digital partnerships represents our company's evolution from a cable/satellite network to a laser-focused media company with multiple distribution platforms and revenue streams," Michael Schwimmer, CEO of Sí TV said.
Verizon Wireless and AOL Latino are partners in the new sites, which offer young Latinos a compelling alternative to the usual hit-driven culture, with cutting-edge content about music, film, gaming, cars and more.

Latino artists and content creators such as musicians, songwriters, actors, comedians, deejays, athletes, writers, poets, models, and performance artists can post profiles, videos and web links on the two new sites.
