BERLIN ELECTRO-GLAM ROCKERS CINEMA BIZARRE TO PLAY LOS ANGELES AND NEW YORK HEADLINE SHOWS NEXT WEEK

 

 

Santa Monica, California, April 13, 2009 – Berlin’s Cinema Bizarre recently finished up opening for Lady Gaga’s Fame Ball tour here in the states and will now headline their own shows in Los Angeles and New York next week.

Cinema Bizarre recently released a limited edition two track EP available exclusively at all Hot Topic stores.  The EP features their seductive hit “Love Songs (They Kill Me)” and “Escape to The Stars (Rough Edge Mix)”, the latter of which is unavailable on any of the band’s international releases and includes a sample of Depeche Mode’s “Everything Counts.”

 

Cinema Bizarre released their debut album Final Attraction overseas in 2008 where it debuted in the top 10. First single “Love Songs (They Kill Me)” was also a top 10 hit! A sold out European tour followed and in January 2009 Cinema Bizarre was awarded the “European Border Breaker Award” for best selling debut album of a German band in Europe. Currently the band is gearing up for the European release of their second album toyZ.  Look for Cinema Bizarre’s debut U.S. full length album to be released this summer  on Cherrytree Records.
