A
young woman (Linda Fiordelesi) takes a ride to the local cemetery to
visit the graves of her parents (her mother recently passed away)
when a report about a meteor is announced on the radio. Soon
after she arrives at the cemetery, the dead rise all around her.
As the number of ghouls increase, so does the suspense filmed in the
classic Night of The Living Dead genre and is a fitting
tribute to George Romero.
Film's Inspirations: John
Carpenter, George Romero & Walter Hill
Quote from the Director,
Joe Barbarisi:
"Flowers for the DEAD is all inspired by
the Original "Night of the Living Dead" and its cast and
crew from 1968, and the Town of Evans City and in Tribute to
the old school ways of making a movie...and don't forget
those Haunted House Carnival rides you took as a kid...that's
what I hope I get out of this horror short."
