Alternative has never sounded so diversifily hard. With colorful lyrics and explosive music, this band takes what is becoming an old school alternative sound and has even broken the mold of what a lot of the more recent bands have been up to.

Their lyrics have meaning and depth, but are in deep contrast with the angry tone of the music which is accompanying them.  Or is that the point?  It is this contrast of light and dark that is highlighted throughout the album and even more pronounced in tracks such as "Hospital."

The high point of the album are its instrumentals which at many times takes center stage, pushing the lyrics and singers to the side. Throughout the CD, the music takes many twists and turns and at many times is too inconsistent even for those with a modern taste.

A good album overall.
