It is interesting that whenever I listen to international music, that I actually do enjoy it.  However, I still always tend to stay away from stuff with an international flavor.  Usually the albums we review, we get from the album company or a marketing firm that is working with them.  However, this time, it was provided by the artist (Samuel Thomas) himself.  My partner, who relayed the story, was on a train talking to a friend about the Pop Stars Plus website, and someone sitting next to them overheard their conversation and began telling them about his music.  He gave my partner the album, which, in return was provided to me for review.

The album is very international in flavor.  There are melodies mixed together from around the world.  The band originating in the U.S., is at its core, however, there are tastes of the Middle East, Israel and even parts of Europe.  Listening to the tracks, you are mentally transported to these faraway lands, and maybe even thrown back in time.

The instruments (although I am far from any expert on this) seem to be very well played, however, I can tell that the musical arrangements make the songs come together very well. This album is a keeper.
